I would love to do something like that tbh! Last year apparently my travel team had Irish girls come play with them, I wasn’t on that team yet though!

Because here it isn’t! A lot of boys play field hockey and they’re respected instead of being ridiculed.(Sorry for my bad English but we speak French and Dutch in my country so my English level isn’t that great…)
Your English is great! And yes, at the high school level in my area of the US we have to wear goggles. I know colleges here don’t require them, and high schools in other areas don’t either. It’s just for safety. And yes many of the boys at school say how hockey is a girls sport and it’s dumb!

It’s the second year I play field hockey and I’m frustrated I didn’t start earlier because now I’m 18 and I don’t think I will ever be able to do that on a higher level. I wondered if you had tips to give to me to play better? I often play back but it sometimes happens I have to play as an attacker.
Honestly just play your heart out. Practice as much as you can because it will help. Take advice from anyone who offers it. If you wanna be good play in a few different club teams that way you get a few different coaches to teach you a few different things. And don’t get discouraged if you “mess up.” Lastly have fun playing because you’ll never be good if you don’t enjoy it (:
So I was helping my coach out at the field hockey camp she runs and one of the little kids said “something smells like it’s burning”, I replied with,”that’s my skin”

So pumped for the Futures tournament Saturday ! Also, school is ending soon so hopefully I’ll have more time to post! But…. I also got a new job, so that may take up some time, and of course I’ll be playing fhockey, ‘cause what would any of us rather be doing? Blogging about it or playing? I think we’d all pick playing ! Anyways, I hope all of you are well and are excited for your coming seasons !
I like to watch field hockey matches of summer olympic games since one rarely sees this sport on telly. For some reason the dutch team was my favourite :).

Thanks to your advidce I wasn't so nervous and played pretty well, i then went and played with them for tournaments in the spring. It helped me alot. This year I made Varsity my freshman year (we have a jv team) and I started as a center forward. My team did really well....
that’s amazing ! you took a chance and left your comfort zone and from the looks of things it worked out pretty well (: i’m very proud of you and happy to help (:
I’m Sorry I Haven’t Posted in a while!
I’ve just gotten so busy with school and practice and all. And I’d like to say it’ll get better in winter but I play a sport every season and ugh, idk I’ll figure it out.
